The observation of a feeding by a professional is important to strengthen breastfeeding. The Bristol Breastfeeding Assessment Tool (BBAT) was translated into Spanish and validated. Translation and back-translation of the original scale was done. Six pediatricians and six pediatric nurses collaborated.
