CONCLUSION Cerebral palsy exerts an influence on the salivary profile, oral health and oxidative stress. The individuals with CP had more acidic saliva and a higher dental plaque index, which were positively correlated with caries activity. CP was associated with high salivary levels of reactive species and lipid peroxidation, demonstrating an imbalance in salivary redox that was particularly associated with caries activity.
