Copeptin levels reflect vasopressin activity and help classify osmoregulatory disorders. There is limited pediatric experience using copeptin to diagnose and manage diabetes insipidus, syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH), and bi- or tri-phasic postsurgical osmoregulatory disorders.
