On the basis of a polyphasic taxonomic analysis, the isolate is considered to represent a novel species of the genus Halomonas, for which the name Halomonas azerbaijanica sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is TBZ202T (=KCTC 62817T=CECT 9693T).A novel actinobacterium, designated TRM 44567T, was isolated from cotton soil in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, northwest PR China.
