Why Buy a Category B+ Driving License? If you're looking to drive a large truck but not a semi-truck, then you'll need a Class B CDL. These licenses are only for vehicles that weigh more than 26,000 pounds, including a small HAZMAT trucks. A Category B license holders can tow a vehicle with a maximum mass of 3,500kg. (Category BE).
