Compared with the CON group, the value of bone volume/total volume (BV/TV) and trabecular number (Tb.N) of the tibias in the TRE group remarkably decreased ( 0.01). However, these changes were markedly less than those of the T-S group after 4 weeks of EA treatment ( 0.05). Moreover, the serum concentration of BGP in the TRE group was also significantly higher than that of the T-S group ( 0.05).
