The aims of this study were to investigate the potential association of arginine vasopressin type 2 receptor (AVPR2) in canine mammary tumours with expression of oestrogen receptors α (ORα) and β (ORβ) and clinicopathological features of the neoplasms. Twenty-six canine mammary tumour samples (11 benign, 15 malignant) were immunolabelled for AVPR2, ORα and ORβ antigens.
