Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied. The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version. R
