Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is a non-traumatic, non-iatrogenic, and non-atherosclerotic coronary artery disorder that manifests clinically as an acute coronary syndrome (ACS), arrhythmia, or sudden cardiac death (SCD).
