Cortical venous thrombosis (CVT) mostly occurs due to a hypercoagulable state. Infection- related CVT is very rare and is a medical emergency associated with a very high mortality rate. It has been described with bacterial and fungal infections; but only a few isolated case reports of CVT related to tubercular meningitis (TBM) exist.
