Brachyura is one of the most species rich and highly derived groups among extant crustaceans, with over 7250 known species. However, brachyuran phylogeny remains controversial and requires further study. Here, we combined 103 brachyuran mitogenomes from GenBank with 10 new mitogenomes to describe gene rearrangement patterns and explore the internal phylogenetic relationships of Brachyura.
