BMI showed a statistically insignificant positive association with the risk of brain tumor. In addition, statistically significant positive trends were seen for men and meningioma, with multivariable-adjusted hazard ratios for a BMI of 27.5 to less than 40 versus 18.5 to less than 23kg per m of 2.14 (95% CI=0.99-4.59) (P= 0.03) and 1.98 (95% CI=0.84-4.67) (P= 0.046), respectively.
