Double lip is a rare developmental anomaly that mainly affects the upper lip. It is characterised by the presence of excess hyperplastic tissue that gives an illusion of double organ. It may occur independently or as a component of a set of defects, mainly in Ascher's syndrome, which presentes with blepharochalasis, non-toxic thyroid enlargement and double upper lip.
