The canonical ensemble AFMC framework makes it possible for the calculation of a model-independent gap, providing direct information about pairing correlations without the necessity for numerical analytic continuation. We utilize finite-size scaling to calculate T_ during the corresponding filling element. We realize that the energy-staggering pairing gap vanishes above T_, showing no pseudogap results, and therefore the spin susceptibility reveals a substantially decreased signature of a sp
