Herein, an on-tissue chemical derivatization strategy based on favorably recharged hydrazine reagent (Girard's reagent P) along with matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization size spectrometry imaging (MALDI-MSI) was developed for evaluation of N-glycans from FFPE treated tissue sections.
