Herein we present a rare case of cystic adventitial degeneration involving the common femoral artery (CFA) of a 71-year-old patient, an unusual site of presentation of the disease. The most commonly affected district is the popliteal artery, and only a few cases of CFA involvement are described in literature. The history and comorbidities of the patient oriented us initially towards the diagnosis of an atherosclerotic obstructive disease.
