Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Lactobacillus salivarius strain KZ-NCB, which was isolated from the cecum of a healthy chicken from a poultry farm in Kazakhstan.We present a retrospective analysis of strains from two anthrax outbreaks in western Kazakhstan in 2009.
