The risk of renal progression started to increase at SBPd ≥ 125 mmHg. This increasing risk of renal progression with SBPd ≥ 125 mmHg remained significant, despite adjusting for the competing risk of all-cause death. CONCLUSIONS High SBPd is associated with renal progression following PCI, particularly when it is ≥ 125 mmHg. This can be used as a risk classification and potential target of renoprotective therapies. © American Journal of Hypertension, Ltd 2020. All rights reserved.
