However, the molecular mechanisms that orchestrate pathogenesis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb)-C. albicans co-infection remain elusive. In the current study, we utilise a mouse model to demonstrate that Mtb promotes a macrophage environment that is conducive for C. albicans survival.
