BACKGROUD Xuezhitong (XZT) is an extract of Allium macrostemon Bunge that has lipid-lowering properties. OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effects of XZT on lipids in subjects with hypertriglyceridemia (HTG) without severe dyslipidaemia.
