ADHD Test For Adults During the ADHD evaluation, an examiner will inquire about the individual's history and behavior. They want to understand how the symptoms have affected an individual's life, including at school and at work. They can also request to look over the school's old records, including report cards. These records help the evaluator figure out whether ADHD symptoms began in childhood (technically before age 12). They may also speak with family members as well.
