The posterior elements of the spinal column were resected at the level of pedicles without full visualization of the involved dural sac. The tumor-infiltrated soft tissues surrounding the T10 vertebral spinous process were excised without full visualization of the tumor. Adjuvant therapy was not administered postoperatively.
