Surgical site infection arising from microbial contamination of surgical wounds is a major cause of surgical complications and prolong hospital stay. In this study, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) biosynthesized using Eucalyptus camaldulensis extract were deposited on silk surgical sutures by ex situ method.
