The application of biosurfactants for the degradation of various toxic compounds has received much attention among researchers worldwide. A stimulated degrading method was carried out in this research to determine the efficiency of surfactant on the biodegradation of aromatic amine 4-Aminobiphenyl (4-ABP). The biosurfactant mediated process is an alternative strategy for chemical surfactants because chemical surfactants are toxic and nonbiodegradable. The bacterium was isolated through the enrichment process and identified using 16S rRNA sequencing method.
