We report the case of syncope in a 75-year-old man with known coronary artery disease following complete atrioventricular block, which became symptomatic with the loss of anterograde conduction properties of his left postero-septal accessory pathway. A double chamber pacemaker implantation was decided. There is no indication for radiofrequency ablation in the absence of reentry tachycardia and intermittent conduction. Cardiac pacing offers him an electrophysiologically interesting excitation profile with a quasi-synchronous right and l
