PP is a versatile plastic, but recycling it comes with unique challenges. Its high melting point, resistance to certain solvents, and contamination from other materials often complicate the recycling process. Unlike other plastics, PP is relatively difficult to separate and purify, making it less economically viable to recycle. As a result, a substantial portion of PP waste is not effectively reused.
