Electric Assist Scooters Electric scooters are a fantastic method of getting around the city regardless of whether you're a commuter, or just looking to have a blast. However, they're not without dangers. E-scooters have become a favored mode of urban transport. This study uses injury-coding and chart review in two levels 1 trauma centers to identify the injuries that are associated with these vehicles. Speed Electric scooters are five to eight times quicker than walking.
