Dyspeptic signs are common with aspirin and physicians frequently advise that it is taken with food to cut back these negative effects. However, meals can hinder consumption, especially with enteric-coated aspirin formulations. We evaluated whether food interferes with the bioavailability of a unique, pharmaceutical lipid-aspirin complex (PL-ASA) liquid-filled capsule formulation.
