The levels of iron (Fe), haemoglobin (Hb), ferritin, delta aminolevulinic acid dehydratase (δ-ALAD), catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), and reduced glutathione levels (GSH) were significantly decreased in pretreated groups and these parameters were found significantly increased in all supplemented subjects after treatment.
